Senior Breakfast

Celebration breakfast for the graduating class.

During this celebration breakfast, the students are congratulated and officially welcomed as members of the UCLA Medical Alumni Association. The MAA presents the following awards:

William G. Figueroa M.D., Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership in promoting excellence in health care delivery to underserved communities
Edward A. Langdon, M.D., Award for demonstrating compassion and humanitarian qualities
Aesculapians Medical Student Award for service to the class

Other student honors are acknowledged, as well. In addition, the graduating class recognizes outstanding faculty member(s) with the Golden Apple Award for teaching, and also presents the Dean with its class scholarship fund check. A video or slide show completes the morning's festivities. The students attend the Hippocratic Oath Ceremony later that afternoon.
