Conference on Career Choices in Medicine

The Conference is a half-day seminar that provides an informative and spontaneous forum for first, second, and third-year medical students to interact with practicing physicians.

Attendance: Alumni & 1, 2 and 3-year Medical Students

The Conference has three 40-minute sessions, each with a variety of panels the students can choose from that cover a wide range of specialties. Panelists offer insights and advice and answer students' questions. There is also an informal round table discussion during lunch that affords a less-structured dialog. Facilitators recruit a panel of specialists (three to four), as well as coordinate and act as moderator for their sessions.
