Dear UCLA MAA Class of 1976,

Let me start off by saying how much I appreciate this honor; it means a lot to me to be chosen for your class scholarship. The award you have given me will be of great help financially. It is comforting to have the support of the Class of 1976 as I progress through my medical education.

Studying at UCLA is wonderful and has opened my eyes to the vast opportunities available to me in medicine. Regardless of what field I choose and where I end up, I know that I will do my best to give back to the students, just like you have done for me.

Again, thank you so much for the scholarship. I look forward to keeping your class informed of my progress through medical school and beyond. Along the way I hope to meet as many of the class of 1976 as I can to thank you personally.
