Carter Newton, M.D. ’73

Greetings from Tucson, Arizona. I am still in cardiology, but I do not see patients any longer. Now my professional activities are on non-invasive coronary imaging, advocacy, business consulting, and training of others.

I attended the memorial of Ned Langdon, M.D. It was a sensational tribute to a leader, who inspired others with his boundless energy and compassion. The event brought together Drs., Buckberg, Golden, Kadell, Paglia, Pops, Rotenberg, Tompkins, Weisenburger, and many others…a real taste again of something rare and fine. Sherman Mellinkoff, M.D., another real giant, was there by proxy letter.

John S. Kerns, Jr. M.D. ’71 (deceased)

I am the sister of John, Helen Kerns Egy, and would like to chat with people who knew John. Please contact me at my e-mail Famegy2006@Yahoo.com. I live in Silicon Valley, CA. Thank you, Helen Egy
